Yesterday, Bill joined members of the Muskegon community for a prayer service at the LST to remember the lives lost in the attacks on September 11th and pray for our men and women currently serving and defending our freedom.
Following the service, Bill joined Ottawa and Muskegon County veterans, law enforcement officials, and West Michigan residents for a Patriot Day celebration to honor our first responders.
At the ceremony Bill noted that we have disagreements and that’s ok – it’s part of our political process. But what we can never forget is that we are Americans first.
