To kick off an action packed 4th of July, Bill started the day in Kentwood with U.S. Senate candidate John James. Bill and John walked the parade together greeting residents from Kentwood and surrounding communities on a festive but very warm Independence Day.
Prior to the parade, Bill and John joined Kentwood Mayor Stephen Kepley for a community pancake breakfast at the Richard L. Root Library and cheered on runners participating in the 5K race.
