Bill was challenged by Gus Portela, an active college republican leader, to participate in the “Ice Bucket Challenge” in order to help raise awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), which is also commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
Bill quickly accepted the challenge and in turn challenged Michigan House Representative Amanda Price of the 89th District, Daniela Garcia who is running for the Michigan House in the 90th District and former Holland Christian standout turned NFL Star Kirk Cousins to join him in raising awareness of this devastating disease that impacts over 1,000 Michigan residents.
