THANK YOU WEST MICHIGAN!

Friends,

First and foremost I want to say thank you. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped put up yard signs, knocked on doors, made phone calls, donated, sent text messages, and so many other things that don’t make front page news but are critical to winning elections.

I am deeply honored to be your representative in Washington. Thank you to the voters for providing me with this opportunity to continue working for the community I love so dearly. I am humbled and excited to represent and fight for West Michigan.

The national landscape is going to be a little bit different. Democrats are going to have control of the House, while Republicans have expanded the majority in the Senate. We saw two congressional seats here in Michigan flip. This is why voting, being engaged, and fighting for what you believe in is so critically important.

While a Democrat speaker poses challenges, I am going to continue to focus on policies that grow our economy, prioritize the Great Lakes, and promote a culture that values life.

I understand that if Republicans and Democrats aren’t talking to one another we won’t know if we agree on 5%, 15%, or 50% of the issues facing our nation. Even in this divided political environment I have worked in a bipartisan manner to advance conservative priorities that move our country forward and make West Michigan an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.

Thank you so much for your time, support, and prayers. Natalie and I appreciate it more than we can possibly share.

Sincerely,

– Bill
