Bill votes in favor of Kate's Law, cracking down on sanctuary cities

On Thursday, Bill voted to strengthen our immigration laws and crack down on cities ignoring federal law. Bill believes the federal government has a responsibility to protect its citizens from repeat offenders who have entered the country illegally. Likewise he believes that cities in the United States that ignore federal law should be held accountable.
Here’s what Bill said about Kate’s Law and the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act. “These bills will strengthen the enforcement of our current immigration laws and help prevent unlawful immigrants who have committed serious crimes from becoming repeat offenders that put our communities at risk. The safety of our citizens should be a priority that is shared by government at the local, state, and federal level. If a state or municipality chooses to ignore federal law and harbor dangerous criminals, they should be ineligible to received federal grants funded by hardworking taxpayers.
