Leadership: Bill Introduces Legislation to Reunite Families, Uphold West Michigan Values

Yesterday, Bill introduced H.R. 6183, the Family Reunification Act. This legislation would require the federal government to reunite children who have been separated from their parents at the southern border as soon as possible.
“While the United States is a nation of laws, we are also a nation of compassion. I am for strengthening our porous border and reforming our broken immigration system,” Bill said upon introducing this legislation. “However, I am not for separating infants and young children from their mothers and fathers. We must take action to right this wrong.”
